Sir Johnny Weatherby KCVO has worked in the Weatherbys organisation since 1979 and was appointed Company Chairman in 1993. He was also Chairman of Ascot Racecourse from 2008 to 2018 and Her Majesty’s Representative from 2011 to 2020. Johnny was awarded the KCVO in 2020 for personal services to the monarch.

Simon Cooper has worked for Weatherbys since 2016 in the role of Director of The General Stud Book and is also Company Secretary. His international roles include Vice- Chairman, International Stud Book Committee (ISBC); Co-chairman, European and African Stud Book Committee; and Member of Executive Council, International Federation of Horseracing Authorities (IFHA). He also sits on the tripartite EU Task Force for Brexit and the Animal Health Law established in 2019 by the FEI and IFHA.
