ITBF CONFERENCE

The ITBF hold its all-important biennial General Meeting and Conference, hosted by a different member country each meeting.

This takes place over a number of consecutive days and offers members a varied schedule of events and an invaluable opportunity to network with other nations.

The Veterinary Conference, managed by leading International vet and ITBF Veterinary Chairman, Des Leadon, is a fundamental part of each meeting with a number of industry-expert invited speakers. 

Typically the host nation provides a programme of events which also includes race meetings, visits to stud farms and formal dinners.

Over the years, we have achieved a vast improvement in the wide dissemination of all kinds of equine information. Contacts have been made, and visitors from one country to another have been welcomed due to links with these gatherings. 

Of the delegates present at meetings, most represent a country’s official Breeders’ Association. We do ask everyone to “Think International” during discussions, for that is the reason we are in existence!
