Covid-19 Update News | New Zealand | 12th August 2020 We are in unprecedented territory because of Coronavirus. It is time to make sure you have considered the implications as we move to Alert Level 4 and the impact imposed restrictions from the Government will have on our day to day operations. You URGENTLY need to have plans in place and to have briefed your staff and clients. We are working with other industry organisations to get clarification of the essential services that we will need to continue to keep both our people and horses welfare at the forefront. COVID-19 Information In light of today’s Covid-19 announcements I wanted to reassure breeders that we are working on their behalf to make sure we are prepared for the challenges that will arise with the approaching breeding season. We have been advised today that the same guidelines as before will not apply at this stage, with regionalisation of the staged restrictions this does change how MPI will be approaching the situation compared to last time. The guidance documents are currently undergoing a review and update, our understanding is that there will be more information to come soon.We will communicate this and information in regard to our coming events as soon as this information is available. The Waikato Branch AGM will be held as planned tonight at 7pm upstairs at Oynx Bar and Restaurant Cambridge. Follow the Government Covid Guidelines and we strongly urge you to download the Covid App and display the QR code prominentlyhttps://covid19.govt.nz/business-work-and-money/business/get-your-qr-code-poster/.To stop the spread of COVID-19, we need to trace the contacts of anyone who has been exposed to COVID-19. Recording people’s movements helps us to do this quickly and efficiently. The faster we can trace contacts, the faster we can prevent further spread of the disease.Stay safe everyone Justine PDF Version of the Stallion Register Available Now Our 2020 Stallion Register is now available online in a digital version.
